The use of bees as a symbol

Our history has presented the bee as a symbol of strength, luck, determination and harmony, but it is also associated with life's most powerful and potent feeling - love. To the Maya, the bee was considered the bearer of life and abundance, in ancient Judaism they represented a peaceful society where people worked in harmony. In ancient Egypt, they were thought to be born from the tears of their sun god, representing the sovereignty of the pharaoh. Today, bees can be seen as symbols of community, friendship, hard work, joy and love.
